You cannot store living animals or plants. Do not treat a storage space as a replacement for a proper pet sitter. Not only are storage spaces not built for people or animals to live in them, but the food you leave out for your pets could also attract pests. Similarly, plant soil could attract pests as well. You cannot store food of any type including, but not limited to, canned foods, perishable foods, dry foods, or pet food for similar reasons. Food will attract pests and will cause an infestation in your storage space and spread to others. “I took advantage of their 1st MONTH FREE promotion when I started renting a 5'x7' storage unit from StaxUp Storage in Chula Vista in March of 2024. And I especially liked the forklift access assistance as they provide, in which they will fill a large box with your stuff, grab their forklift, and lift it up and insert it into the building on the second level, where my unit is. It made me moving in So much easier! With a monthly rental rate of $67/month, I found it to be very competitive in comparison to similar size storage units at other storage facilities, and a good value with what you get for your money, considering it includes such amenities as a secure gated facility with CCTV surveillance, my unit is indoor & therefore has climate control, a roll up door, great access hours, a nice bathroom by the office, and the staff are always so nice, friendly, and helpful, especially Maria. At least for this area of town, I would recommend you renting at no other place than here!.”
