George Washington University
George Washington University's maincampus is located in the beautiful and historic Foggy Bottom in Washington DC andis just a few short blocks from the White House. It began in 1821 as ColumbiaCollege by an Act of Congress to create a private institution of higherlearning in the nation's capital where future leaders could train and learn,and in 1904 it became George Washington University.
