โI recently rented a storage with Fort Knox Self Storage in San Francisco and the person who helped me on the phone and when I got there was so helpful. Her name is Lekayza! Lekayza was so nice and answered all my questions. Thank you!.โ

โThis place offers pricing the same as all storage facilities.. new customers first month cheaper or free but the reason for 5 stars is the customer service here is phenomenal! They donโt just sell your stuff as soon as possible and they do work with you as much as they can if you answer their calls or go in and talk to them. Also they stay open about 30 mins to an hour more than Extra Crap Storage or that other worthless one Public Steal ur Stuff Storage..โ

What items am I not allowed to store in storage units in San Francisco, CA?
There are a number of items you cannot store at Fort Knox Self Storage.

You cannot store living animals or plants. Do not treat a storage space as a replacement for a proper pet sitter. Not only are storage spaces not built for people or animals to live in them, but the food you leave out for your pets could also attract pests. Similarly, plant soil could attract pests as well.
You cannot store food of any type including, but not limited to, canned foods, perishable foods, dry foods, or pet food for similar reasons. Food will attract pests and will cause an infestation in your storage space and spread to others.

Otherwise, you can just complete the rental online, or give us a call and we will rent the unit over the phone whenever you're ready.
What is the difference between indoor storage and drive up storage in San Francisco, CA?
We offer both indoor and drive up storage here at Fort Knox Self Storage, and each comes with different advantages depending on how you plan to use them.
The term indoor storage describes storage spaces that are found inside a building. These storage spaces provide more protection against the elements than drive up spaces because they're fully covered inside of a structure.
Drive-up storage spaces are located along the exterior of the building so you can literally drive right up to them. These spaces allow you to easily unload and load your vehicle, making it a breeze to put stuff in, or take stuff out of your storage space. These are convenient spaces if you know you're going to store belongings that would be difficult to carry in and out of a building, especially when those buildings have multiple floors.
Are there climate controlled/temperature-controlled storage units in San Francisco, CA?
Fort Knox Self Storage offers climate-controlled storage in San Francisco.
Temperature-controlled spaces maintain the ambient temperature within them between 50 and 80 degrees and the humidity between 30% and 50%. These temperature and humidity levels are ideal for keeping your things in great condition.
We're conveniently located at 370 Turk Street , San Francisco, CA, so come on by if you need climate-controlled/temperature-controlled storage.
