Here’s Why You Should Review Your Storage Facility Online

Self storage companies, like most businesses, rely on their customers to succeed. Writing an online review not only helps the storage facility, but helps potential tenants as well.

When you know that a business is great, you can help other people find it by reviewing said business on Yelp, Google Reviews, or Facebook. In 2017, Forbes published its statistical findings related to online reviews. This study concluded that 90 percent of consumers consult online reviews before visiting a business. It also showed that reviews impact 67.7 percent of purchasing decisions.

We tend to trust our friends when they make a business recommendation, and we trust online reviews nearly as much. In fact, 84 percent of people trust an online review as much as a recommendation from a friend, and 74 percent of customers trust a local business more if they’ve read a good review. The statistics continue to look good for well-reviewed companies, as 65 percent of people consider online reviews a highly trusted source of information.

While the above news is great for self storage facilities that receive good reviews, they’re not so great when there are no reviews, or the reviews are negative.
