Apparently most storage units have better security than the museum in Oslo. Two thieves stole the iconic 1983 painting in less than 50 seconds during the opening day of the 1994 Winter Olympics. Police found the cut wire that held the painting with a note reading, “Thousand thanks for the bad security!” On May 7, 1994 Norway’s most famous painting, “The Scream” by Edvard Munch, was recovered almost three months after it was stolen from a museum in Oslo. Did you Know? 841 "The Scream" paintings fit in a 5x5 storage unit. Resources: http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/the-scream-recovered
