The experience of customer service was excellent. I only have a couple complaints or requests that they do things differently. I wish they'd send out a bill for my monthly dues. Also the unit I rented is one of the smaller ones and I have to walk a bit, which wouldn't be so bad but when I'm constantly transferring things to and from, it's burdensome.

We paid thousands to have a storage unit here for years. When it was finally time to get rid of it, the gal was bitchy and VERY persistent that the $25 referral fee would take 6 weeks. Great...just DO IT!

Do not rent from money saver Gresham at Hogan road. My husband and I rented a very large very expensive unit while we were moving and downsizing last November. We did so with the proviso that the first 10 by 12 with an outside access door that came available would be given to us. The seasons come, the seasons go; but month after month Terry and Chloe have rented the smaller units to new customers at discount rates on Spacefoot. Yesterday afternoon Terry confirmed that she had the unit we wanted saved for us. My husband asked her if we could come later Friday afternoon and do paperwork so that we could move our things into the smaller unit on Saturday and Sunday. Terry said that "would be fine". At no time did she indicate that we needed to rush over there and finalize any commitment. In fact, she explained that I wouldn't even owe anything because we could simply transfer out balance then to an existing more affordable unit and, therefore, have a credit. It should be mentioned that I am disabled and have a slight mobility issue that is obvious to anyone providing regular customer service to me. My husband also has physical restrictions due to two severe torn rotator cup work injuries. Terry was aware that we had scheduled help to assist us with the move the following Saturday. She only gave us the unit late on Thursday afternoon. Since we were paid up on a much more expensive unit money wasn't the issue. I received a phone message form Terry (while I was driving) coyly saying she "couldn't hold the unit any longer" . When I confronted her directly ( but calmly ) about the unfairness of this situation Terry said. " well I do what is required of me" . What she is not telling us is that storage unit managers ARE routinely REQUIRED and expected to get on the computer and mark units "unavailable" that they have promised to existing customers so that they aren't rented out from under them on line through a computer booking service called "Sparefoot". In addition, we had other problems with the unit. For example, we were locked out when they "lost" our payment once. To be fair, the other problems we had with the unit were resolved quickly. However, it is clear to me that management at Money Saver Gresham would rather sit on their a** reading than take a few seconds and keep a promise to a customer of six months. I have asked for the corporate address for money saver so that I may express my concerns in writing but have yet to receive it. The bottom line: if you are happy to pay top dollar to a storage unit whose primary concern is serving the needs of potential on-line customers rather than you; Go for it!
