Very professional service. Upbeat and friendly staff. Easy to find. They showed me many types of moving supplies at reasonable prices. Convenient hours for both office and gate. Same owners but recently given over to (and now renamed) Central Self Storage.

My experience with Brian and Kathleen in the Fairfield office of Central Self Storages is a very pleasant one I truly love how both of there employee take the time to explain things to you. Very friendly and helpful every time I came in to pay my bill. Especially when I was informed the rent of my storage had increase. Also help me Fax some paperwork that had a today deadline. Great Facility, Very Clean, Reasonably Priced and Friendly Customer Service. I am currently parking a large 5th Wheel Trailer (33 feet long), and they accommodated me on a short notice when I really needed a space. Lots of other RV's, Boats and Cars/Trucks on site, and indoor garage storage for containers. The facility also has a security gate where the customer has their own code to enter the premise, so it feels real safe. The only setback is, the outdoor spaces are only 10 feet wide, so when a trailer is naturally 8 feet, that only gives you one foot of clearance on each side, so bring a friend to help assist you on backing up a trailer/boat. Also, to have a space at this facility, you are required to have RV/Boat/Car insurance and current tags. And just in case one asks (and I have been asked), there is no overnight staying at the facility (this place is for storage only).

My wife and I used to rent here. We were hesitant on coming back. Tierra is the new assistant Manager and is the reason why we decided to rent again. She seemed to really have a hold on the facility and really impressed my wife by acknowledging all the tenants by their names . The grounds look alot cleaner , organized, and less chaotic. She seems to have brought a professional , positive new way of running things there . A few of us who rent with this company hope Tierra becomes Manager . Over the short while she has been there we have seen such a change. Great Job who ever hired her she is such a keeper.

If I could rate this place lower I would... We had a reservation and when we arrived we were told the reservation was not good and they did not have any units available and we would have to pay for a reservation. So we made another reservation in person and paid for it. We received a message that our reserved unit was available and ready. We packed up a truck load and showed up to find that they had given it away and they were VERY RUDE ABOUT IT TOO! Hard to believe they could be so crappy and so rude on top of that! Then we heard rumors that they have many units robbed there and we may have dodged a bad thing!!

Where to begin. Over charged for rental on mileage and blankets I did not use, seal on blanket bag not broken. Truck was a P.O.S, wheel alignment off, transmission screwed up, shocks worn out, not clean. Guy there never answers phone, and turns off answering machine. If you keep calling he eventually answers. Complete B.S. Never again!

I went there to pay my bill on Saturday and they supposedly opened at 10 am but the guy that was there told me it was his day off and he could not help me but he would take my payment and give it to the girl when she arrived because she was drinking late. When I asked him to give me some sort of receipt or paper saying that I was leaving the $156 he told me "don't you trust me?" I said I don't know you to trust you or not trust you, I would just like to get a receipt because that's the way I do business. He then told me "well if you don't trust me maybe I shouldn't have rented to you." I'm not sure what kind of business they are running but most people would like to have a receipt when they pay for something as proof of payment, it has nothing to do with whether I trust the person or not. We are not friends, I am not there to trust them, I am there to do business with them as a customer. This interaction left me feeling very upset and disappointed.

I cannot wait to leave this place due to the fact I've found 2 dead mouses inside my space. Soo frightened! There was abaolutely nothing in there for this nasty mouses inside my space!!!!

Crooked liars. Avoid the headache!!! Do not rent from them, they will force you to get insurance on your unit and find a way to weasel out of paying you when they damage your property. In my case they put bug poison powder All in to my storage unit which got all over my couches. I filed the claim... they said we didnt sign the papers in the right spot so the contract is void for insurance and they told the insurance company that we didnt pay the month we filled our claim, when we have the receipts saying we did. So basically youre paying for storage insurance every month and they plan never to pay if you need it. They wont reimburse me my insurance payments even though it was voided (according to them)because supposedly we signed in the wrong spot.

I wouldn't rent here if you plan to keep things stored. They have a rat problem multiple units all had rat poop in them.
