Climate

The eastern half of Nebraska has a humid continental climate, and the western half of the state has a semi–arid continental steppe climate. All of Nebraska experiences wide variations in seasonal temperatures and precipitation. However, summers are generally hot, and winters are generally cold. Humidity decreases from east to west. Snowfall remains even across the state, where most of Nebraska receives between 25 and 35 inches of snow annually.
